The Neil Jones Food Company is looking for a Customer Service Representative at our corporate headquarters in Vancouver, WA. The Neil Jones Food Company processes superior quality, fresh packed, vine-ripened California tomatoes and Pacific Northwest fruit. With headquarters in Vancouver, Washington, NJFC has been providing our nation’s discerning foodservice, retail, industrial and institutional customers the finest quality canned and pouched products for over 35 years. NJFC operates three production facilities: Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA.; San Benito Foods, in Hollister, CA; and Toma-Tek in Firebaugh, CA.


Summary
: Responsible to handle all aspects of daily order fulfillment and general order management; assists customers with various requests for information; coordinates tasks with Brokers and Regional Sales Managers, warehouse personnel and supply chain/logistics as needed to provide timely service to customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responds to incoming email orders, Electronic Data Interface (EDI) orders, and customer requests for information from assigned customers in a timely manner.
  • Enters orders into order fulfillment system according to internal processes and utilizes Order Notes in order fulfillment system to document issues.
  • Confirms orders back to customers in a timely manner and that warehouses have information required to process orders and to ensure order is fulfilled as requested.
  • Coordinates with Supply Chain and Logistics/Transportation teams to ensure product availability for customer requirements.
  • Builds and sustains excellent relationships with brokers, buyers, customers, and internal Supply Chain, Logistics/Transportation and Sales Teams.


Requirements
:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in business management, sales and marketing, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires knowledge of order fulfillment processes.
  • 1 year of office administration experience.
  • 2 years of customer service or sales and marketing experience in an internal service role preferred
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
