Job Overview:

Customer Advocates serve in a cross-functional role working with customers and their insurance carrier. This dynamic and exciting role offers an opportunity to wear multiple hats and impact all revenue generating functions of the business. Day-to-day responsibilities vary, but are centered on supporting customers through the insurance claim process and handling customer service issues. Central Operations Customer Advocate

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as main point of contact for key customers who are using home owners insurance to pay for services
  • Obtain insurance information from customers, guide them through claim process, & files claims on their behalf
  • Verify customers’ insurance policy type, confirm coverage, and work with insurance adjusters to gather key information
  • Build relationship & communicate with customer through duration of job
  • Coordinate customer needs & situation with internal team of Client Managers & Supervisors
  • Audit jobs to ensure all documents & information necessary for billing are accurate and complete

Required Experience:


Basic Qualifications:

  • 3-10 years customer service or insurance claims experience
  • At least 18 years of age or older
  • B.A. or B.S degree preferred
  • Ability to occasionally work outside of the normal 8:00a-4:30p M-F work week to maintain peak coverage (i.e. night shifts & weekend shifts/on-call)
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment & via phone
  • Outstanding organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to use a computer and navigate various windows
