Haymarket Media, Inc. is seeking a Custom Projects Coordinator to join the Haymarket Studio team. This position is located in our New York, New York office.


Job Overview:

Haymarket Studio, part of the Business Media Group, is looking for a full-time Custom Projects Coordinator who works well under deadlines, has strong organizational and project management abilities and enjoys the fast-paced media environment. This position’s primary aim will be to own and manage the creation of new standard operating procedures and workflows in order to further the deliverability or engagement of custom projects across the group. The professional filling this role will work closely with other team members and internal departments to coordinate campaign execution with the goal of keeping all projects on course.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee creation of content including videos, articles, graphics, roundtable talks and panels at events. Responsible for tone, accuracy and quality
  • Interact with clients on creation and execution of contracts, work schedules and edits of content
  • Ideation
  • Assist with hosting live events and moderate panels when needed
  • Assist with the recruitment of speakers, panelists and quests
  • Assist with the execution of events such as half-day and roundtable conferences
  • Represent the brands at industry events
  • Travel required
  • Not a WFH position

Skills and Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of content creation and editing experience
  • Impeccable client-relations skills
  • Top-notch writing and editing skills
  • Experience with podcasting and video preferred
  • Operational chops
  • Superb taste in talent and content, and the ability to sensitively translate your taste to the staff
  • Respect for processes, and a discerning eye for how to improve systems
  • A contact list full of top-notch freelancers preferred
  • A commercial sense to match your content skills
  • An ability to multitask and prioritize as necessary
  • Ease and comfort in front of a crowd, or in a pitch preferred
  • Strong work ethic
  • A sense of urgency and the ability to instill it, nicely, in others
  • An ability to use analytics tools to measure ROI for clients
  • At least a bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Work samples required

  • The salary range for this position is $70,000-$75,000. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, skill level, functional and/or industry knowledge, education level, certifications, as well as other qualifications.
