For positions that qualify, the District offers a benefit package that is valued at more than $10,000 annually. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Public Employees’ Retirement System (PERSI) and are provided to Classified employees who work at least half time (20 hours per week) or more in a regular position and to Certified employees with a .50 FTE or greater contract.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred and supervisory experience also preferred.
  • Knowledge of practices, tools, equipment and material used in custodial work, of safety practices as applied to custodial work and building hardware, fixtures and equipment. The routine operation of utilities and equipment and or the principles and practices of supervision.
  • Ability to perform minor maintenance work.
  • Ability to operate tools and equipment used in custodial work.
  • Ability to perform manual labor.
  • Ability to observe and determine the need for service and supplies.
  • Ability to follow and give oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with district personnel, students and the public.
