Cultural Liaison


As the Cultural Liaison for Alluma, we are searching for persons of culture you will participate in efforts to build, cultivate and foster strong collaborative relationships with individuals and communities of similar cultures including, but not limited to, Native American, Hispanic/LatinX, Somali, bi-cultural, and LGBTQ+. You will serve as an advocate for our clients and under the general direction of the Care Coordinator Supervisor, you work with all clinical teams and groups to ensure access to care for emergent, urgent or routine care delivery. In this role, you will coordinate, educate, and manage the care of clients to support their recovery. The Cultural Liaison will also engage with community partners, elders, tribal leaders and community members to build relationships and provide mental health, substance use disorder education and engagement.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a clinical field such as Nursing, Counseling, Social Work, Therapy, Allied Health or community health related fields
  • OR 4 years’ experience in care management or related experience
  • Valid driver's license and insurable under agency's automobile insurance policy.
  • Access to personal vehicle, and the ability and willingness to use the vehicle in carrying out position responsibilities, including travel within the service area and to other areas for workshops or as part of job duties.
  • Demonstrated ability to function within legal and ethical boundaries consistent with the scope of personal practice or personal licensure, HIPAA guidelines, and other local, state, or federal regulatory guidelines.
  • Must be free from substance use problems for a period of no less than 2 years.
  • Must pass criminal background study through DHS NetStudy 2.0.
