The Cuber Operator's primary function is to safely operate the palletizer, to provide a last line of defense against substandard product leaving the plant, and to help maximize plant efficiency. Additional duties include performing adjustments as necessary to the cubing machine and related equipment, performing scheduled maintenance, and assuring that culls do not enter the finished cubes. This position includes housekeeping responsibilities for work area, general plant, and all common areas.

*Candidates must be available to work Day Shift, Night Shift, and/or Overnight Shift.*

Safety: Personal Protective Equipment. The Cuber Operator always wears the appropriate safety equipment, including hardhat, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection.

Safe Equipment Operation: The Cuber Operator is always focused on the safe operation of any and all equipment which he operates.

Alertness on the Block Plant: The Cuber Operator is constantly alert and aware of what is going on inside the block plant. He is responsible for stopping and/or correcting any unsafe behavior he witnesses in the plant.

Quality: Product Quality. The Cuber Operator is able to recognize flawed block and consistently removes these from the line, assuring no culls are cubed.

Teamwork. The Cuber Operator communicates effectively with the machine operator when culls are present and works collaboratively to ensure the highest level of product quality.

Efficiency: Efficient Operation. The Cuber Operator is critical to the efficient operation of the plant and must work in a steady, but safe manner.

Focus: If the Cuber Operator makes a mistake due to inattention, the result can be the shutdown of the entire production facility. This is both costly and inefficient.

Proficiency with Equipment: The Cuber Operator must be proficient in the operation of the forklift, steel band strapper, and hand stretch wrap tool.

Appearance: Personal. The Cuber Operator dressed in accordance with company policy, wears all required PPE, and is in good mental and physical condition.

Assistance with Facility: The Cuber Operator assists with the cleaning of the block plant, the mixer and mixer platform, and other common areas.
