Established Lab Service and Phlebotomy Company looking for motivated individuals to join our growing team. Our company services countless physicians and patients. We specialize in providing the highest quality venipuncture and specimen collection services for any patient, and any laboratory. Objective Summary:
This role exists to provide clients and patients with phlebotomist or medical assistant services. Services are for Covid-19 testing and observing self collections and using Primary Care software to facilitate results with the patient.
This position will serve the Los Banos Unified School District.
Essential Job Functions:
- Working in a space in the local school district according to your specific assignment
- Follow all CDC, CDPH guidelines and standards set by company
- Covid-19 testing (Swabbing, nasal)
- Collecting specimens
- Be professional in appearance, actions and communications
- Maximize productivity and quality of work
- Other duties as assigned
Typical Daily Duties:
- Working in lab or doctor office with others
- Collecting samples for Covid-19 testing (nasal and saliva)
- Verify patients' identification
- Labeling, separating and turning in specimens
- Travel to different locations
Qualifications:
- Licensed Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant
- Minimum 6 months working as a phlebotomist
- Valid Driver’s License and Valid Vehicle Insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Knowledge with computer programs (Excel, Word, Appointments Plus, Gmail)
- Effective communication skills
- Complete a Background Check and Drug Screening
- COVID-19 Vaccinated Preferred
Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit or stand for a long period of time
- Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Use hands to finger, handle or feel tools or controls
Lift up to 25 pounds regularly
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 per hour
