Cost Estimator
The Cost Estimator is responsible for developing accurate and complete proposals for our WTI General Contracting department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform quantity labor and material take-offs
- Analyze project plans and specifications
- Compare competitive trade bids
- Review material usage on trade bids to ensure correct material coverage/usage rates.
- Prepare complete and accurate detailed cost estimates/models.
- Prepare complete and accurate proposals with adherence to the company's policies/procedures and contract agreements.
- Collaborate with key personnel across various departments such as Construction Managers, Program Managers, Sales Representatives, and Field Technicians.
Experience:
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- Three-Five Years related experience and training (construction, commercial roofing systems, estimating)
- RS Means experience
- Line-Item Estimating
- Excel a must
