Title: “Corrections School health RN”
This is a small program in the Westside of Jacksonville overseeing the healthcare of youth between the ages of 13-18 years old.
Candidate will be able to collaborate with the DHA, clinical director and various disciplines in the management of youth with chronic and or acute medical conditions following set nursing protocols. Candidate will also participate in treatment team settings, and youth staffings. This is Day shift, usually 3 and ½ days/week. flexible schedule.
OR
Flexible day shift schedule for school health in a behavioral health setting close to westside of Jacksonville. Responsible for scheduling student’s medical appointments, reviewing consult forms, and referrals as needed; managing medications for students. MD rounds weekly,; Treatment team meetings monthly with various disciplines; Intake admissions of students. Obtain labs as needed/ordered. Adherence to DJJ standards for the medical department. Excellent documentation and communication. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills as well as nursing judgment and teamwork.
