Reports to: HR Business Partner

Primary Interfaces: Current & Prospective Polk Mechanical Employees

Environment:

  • Multi-location: Office based position with support of a large, distributed workforce
  • Pace: Constant changing targets and quick turnaround is essential due to shifting priorities, changing client needs and project specifications
  • Demographic diversity: Workforce enjoys a wide range of diversification associated with ethnicity, culture, position qualifications, socio-economic background, geographical differences, white & blue collar, etc. Due to our diverse workforce, a bilingual candidate is strongly preferred.

  • Employee Experience Focused: You will be recruiting for all professional-leveled positions. Expected to collaborate with team members to cultivate employee experience. Be a champion of professional development in an employee centric and customer service focused culture.
  • Attract Talent: You will assist the talent team in sourcing, attracting, screening, and scheduling high quality candidates for employment opportunities. Building relationships and a pipeline of internal and external candidates using various recruiting techniques and strategies. Attending business association, university, alumni, and industry events to represent Polk.
  • Fast Paced Team Player: Ideal candidate can handle the wear and tear of a fast-paced environment and will wear multiple hats at once, while still remaining successful. Deeply passionate about the details and able to staff open positions accordingly. Will assist in gathering and compiling a variety of information as needed for various HR initiatives and projects. Will possess a sense of urgency and have the ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects at once while remaining strong in accuracy. You will have the ability to prioritize different projects and customer needs while communicating effectively, remaining organized and detail focused.
