Summary: Receives calls and visitor at the Corporate Offices of Citizens Business Bank. Determines nature of business and directs calls and visitors to the appropriate destination. Performs other duties as required by the nature of the position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
  • Provide, present and promote The Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers.
  • Greets visitors, obtains their name and arranges for appointment with associate being called upon.
  • Directs visitor to destination and insures record of name, time of call, nature of business, and associate called upon is appropriately recorded in visitor log.
  • In absence of appropriate associate to meet with visitor will attempt to come to a resolution and re-direct visitor or take a message, as needed.
  • Operates PBX telephone console to receive incoming telephone calls. As needed takes telephone messages and insures delivery to the appropriate associate in a timely fashion.
  • Maintains the Corporate Office listing of all associates working at that location and their respective telephone numbers by department.
  • Collects, sorts and distributes USPS and interoffice mail at various intervals throughout the day.
  • Records and distributes all certified and upon receipt according to Bank policies and procedures.
  • Maintains calendar for the Bank's third floor conference and meeting rooms.
  • Reconciles department suspense accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Coordinates, orders and distributes supplies for Product & Sales Support, as well as the Executive Offices of Citizens Business Bank.
  • Types memos, correspondence, reports and completes other special projects as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Current California driver's license.
