The Corporate Planning Administrative Specialist supports and helps formulate short-term strategic business initiatives, including marketing and outreach initiatives. The Corporate Planning Specialist will provide administrative support for monthly reports and executive meetings. When applicable, they will also provide quantitative and qualitative findings, insights, and recommendations to help drive short-term business strategies. Additionally, the Corporate Planning Administrative Specialist supports the Instructor Advisory Council (IAC).

This position will be responsible for driving short-term initiatives from data collection and analysis to presentation and recommendations on mid-to-long term business objectives. Specific projects may vary depending on business needs. Some projects may include opportunities such as facilitating internal communication between various departments and countries. Ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Core Job Responsibilities:
  • Creates, standardizes and disseminates internal business reports on a monthly basis
  • Responsible for coordination and support for all matters pertaining to the Instructor Advisory Council (IAC)
  • Assists with meeting planning logistics (e.g. contracting with hotels, catering, AV companies)
  • Facilitates compilation of minutes writing following executive meetings
  • Collects, integrates, and presents data findings in support of the company’s short-term strategies, planning, and decision making
  • Supports field staff and Field Support Center departments plan and implement programs to accelerate the growth of Kumon North America
  • Coordinates inter‐organizational initiatives with other departments including the Marketing Team, Information Technology Team, and Field Operations or possibly other countries such as Kumon Institute of Education (in Japan) and Kumon South America
Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required (Administrative)
  • 1-2 years of related work experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
