Coordinator, In-Game Entertainment Job at Toronto Blue Jays

Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, the Coordinator, In-Game Entertainment will be a key member of the Toronto Blue Jays Florida Operations & Dunedin Blue Jays team. This position is responsible for assisting with the planning and executing of all TD Ballpark in-game entertainment and promotions to help create a fun, world class atmosphere at Dunedin Blue Jays games and Toronto Blue Jays Spring Training games.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work alongside Ticketing Department and Interim Assistant General Manager to coordinate execution of pre-game ceremonies and in-game live entertainment during Dunedin Blue Jays games and Toronto Blue Jays Spring Training games.
  • Produce and show call Toronto Blue Jays Spring Training games.
  • Work with Assistant General Manager and Toronto Blue Jays Game Entertainment team and designers to collect and test Spring Training content.
  • Help plan new in-game promotions, activations, and video concepts with the Assistant General Manager
  • Run Daktronics equipment Show Control, Dak Stats and music board during the Dunedin Blue Jays Minor League Season
  • Create and edit graphic and video content for pre-game and in-between innings entertainment including cutting headshots
  • Prepare batting practice and work with Dunedin Blue Jays staff on walk-up music changes
  • Setup and turn on PA Equipment on gamedays. Including turning on Batting Practice Music, turning on videoboard and downloading gameday stats
  • Write and Print gameday scripts and review with Interim Assistant General Manager/PA Booth/Game Entertainment staff
  • Coordinate content creation for Triple Play TV system at TD Ballpark
  • Create and schedule content for rolling sign in front of stadium.
  • Fulfill donation requests using Approve For Good
  • Fulfill videoboard message requests
  • Attend scheduled community events
  • Other Special Projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Working knowledge of Daktronics or similar videoboard equipment is an asset
  • Video creation and editing skills required
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Suite required
  • Highly motivated and adaptable with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to and willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
