Construction Project Manager- Recent & Upcoming Grads Welcome!

Overview:

  • Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple building projects across multiple cities.

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct or assist in planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating assigned project activities.
  • Understand and interpret project documents, including blueprints, scope of work, proposals, contracts and schedules.
  • Develop and manage procurement plans for necessary outside resources. Manage, or assist in managing, contracts for outside services, including developing requests for proposals, evaluating competitive bids, selecting vendors, participating in contract negotiations, overseeing vendor performance/quality, ensuring work is performed in accordance with the contract, etc.
  • Effectively collaborate with field crews, working in detail towards successful project completion, including ordering required materials and execute accurate purchase orders
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate and timely
  • Communicate project details and status updates. Provide written and oral reports and other communication.
  • Develop working relationships with the project team, plant and operating company staff, internal and external customers or partners, contractors, vendors, and suppliers. Foster teamwork and seek customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years of construction/ project management experience OR equivalent in education
  • Ability to travel up to 70%
  • Excellent communication skills

Physical Demands:

This job requires the ability to regularly see, talk and hear. The position requires the ability to lift up to 10 pounds repeatedly.
