Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Executive Director of Marketing and Community Relations oversees all aspects of the organization’s marketing strategy, policies, objectives and initiatives. Provides advice to leadership for the development of Marshall Medical Center’s marketing strategies to promote the organization’s business initiatives.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Licensure/Certification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Planning, Business, Health Care Administration or related field required.
    • Must meet all DMV requirements indicated below.
Knowledge:
  • Five years of marketing experience with at least two of those years in a management position, preferably in healthcare environment.
  • Effective leadership, team building and management experience.
Skills:
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Proven skills in identifying/solving problems and developing/executing strategy
  • Intermediate Word and Excel proficiency with the ability to manipulate and extract data for use, review and projection of trends
  • Ability to develop and meet budgetary objectives
  • Strong project management skills required
  • Note: Requires employees to drive at least once per pay period. Candidates must possess and supply proof of: a current CA Driver’s License, a clean DMV printout and Auto Insurance coverage with a minimum of $50,000 per person/$100,000 per occurrence (or a combined single limit of $100,000) and property damage coverage in an amount not less than $50,000 per occurrence.
