Primary Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Communications and Research Assistant is to provide administrative and research support for the non-profit J.A.L. Foundation, as well as to perform other duties customarily required of a communications and research assistant.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include without limitation, researching current cancer treatments and statistics, locating potential J.A.L. recipients, communicating with cancer treatment centers and cancer patients, website administration, maintaining a database of clinical trials, preparing materials for all Committee and Board of Directors meetings, recording, transcribing and distributing board and committee meeting minutes, managing filing system, maintaining office supplies and equipment and other duties as may be assigned.
