What will you do
The Strategy & Executive Communications Specialist will be part of a global team helping to drive high-impact communications for the Kenvue Brand around the world, supporting activities that protect and enhance brand and business reputation, as well as driving awareness of our brands and Purpose among key stakeholders. The role will be responsible for supporting the global strategy & executive communications team with cross-functional coordination, maintaining a finger on the pulse of internal initiatives and happenings in the broader context of the local, regional, and global news cycle:
Responsibilities
- Develop an in-depth understanding of Kenvue Brand, leadership team and stakeholder engagement strategy.
- Support Strategy & Executive Communications leader, Brand & Cxo Communications leader and full team in the execution of best-in-class strategic communication activations, including internal and external events.
- Help maintain alignment across functions and across regions, monitoring anticipated and ongoing issues and media relations activations —including executive mailboxes, platform development, competitive and landscape audits, and reporting and analytics.
- Proactively research and recommend engagement opportunities and cultivate relationships as appropriate.
- Support the Strategy & Executive Communications team by drafting communications materials and maintaining asset libraries and resource sites.
- Support additional special communication projects across Global Corporate Affairs, as needed.
- Develop knowledge on current and emerging communications trends and digital technologies, and assess the impact and industry best practices.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Proven expertise in communications with at least 3 years’ experience within a corporate environment or public relations agency is required.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills are required.
- A self-starter with high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize, take ownership, shift gears, and acclimate quickly while possessing high accountability for work quality and a solutions-oriented mindset are required.
- Strong multi-tasking skills and the aptitude to effectively motivate the team and internal partners to meet deadlines are crucial and are required.
- Professional maturity and ability to partner with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and work independently with minimal supervision and/or as part of a team is required.
- This position requires up to 10% domestic travel.
