Bonacio Construction is seeking Full Time Commercial Project Manager(s) to grow our team of dedicated construction professionals. Our current jobsites are in the Saratoga to Schroon Lake, NY areas. If you are looking for a fast-paced, unique work environment that will keep you busy all year long, this could be the position for you.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects in conjunction with our site supervisors, ensuring all necessary tradespeople, subcontractors, materials, equipment, approvals, permits, preconstruction meetings are in place prior to starting any work.
- Ensure effective planning, estimating, procurement, execution, and support of all assigned construction projects.
- Monitor progress of assigned projects, ensuring output and timely results consistent with company policies, expectations, and goals. Oversee all aspects from pre-construction services to close-out and follow-up.
- Documenting important events such as change orders in the scope of work, discovery or unforeseen conditions, and instructions from the owner.
- Collaborate and utilize the Contract Administrator assigned to the project.
- Ensure budget and financial goals are met by tracking expenses, preparing status reports, and working with accounting to prepare monthly billings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
- 5 years minimum experience working as a project manager in the construction field.
- Ability to negotiate, resolve conflict, and deal effectively with all levels of staff in a respectful and professional manner, with exceptional customer service.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
