SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES

It is the responsibility of and effective change manager to understand the dynamics of change and is well versed with tools, methodologies, and approaches to apply these in different contexts. They understand how people experience change and can reflect that understanding in the strategies they implement. The nCino Business Change Lead will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems, and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The nCino Business Change Lead will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI, and the achievement of results and outcomes.

  • Develop a vision and change management strategy for the Commercial Banking nCino Platform and Process
  • Oversite of major projects in conjunction with the Product Owner, applying a structured methodology and lead change management activities
  • Develop change management assessments to be used by the CMS.
  • Partner with Corporate Learning to develop change management assessments and strategies for small to large changes impacting the Commercial Bank
  • Develop and maintain a change calendar for that can be used when communicating to various audiences across the Bank.
  • Build and maintain Job Aids specific to nCino procedures.
  • Develop and ongoing partnership and change cadence with VIP employee support and Corporate Learning training teams for sprint deliveries, and small and large projects, related to the nCino Platform and Process.
  • Lead nCino User Forum in partnership with the Director of nCino Product.
  • Develop strategies related to surveying the nCino end user for experience feedback and process improvement requests.
  • Embed company culture and practices into change management approach.
  • Identify, analyze, prepare risk mitigation tactics for nCino Platform and Process changes.
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance, consulting and coaching project teams based on assessments.
  • Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan.
  • Support communication efforts in partnership with the nCino Product Team and the Commercial Communications Analyst.
  • Support, coach and guide senior leaders through thoughtful and ongoing engagement and relationship building strategies.
  • Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities.
  • Partner with project managers to integrate change management activities into project plans.
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness.
  • Track and report issues that could impact user adoption, learning, resistance, or engagement.
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.
  • Partner with project managers to develop benefits realization plans, including KPIs, quantitative and qualitative measurements.
  • Manage the nCino Platform and Process portfolio and change load
  • Review user adoption and acceptance progress and analyze results to report and or create action plans

SUPERVISION

While the nCino Business Change Lead does not have supervisory responsibility, this person will have to work through many others in the organization to succeed. The nCino Business Change Lead will act as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the role of the change sponsor. The CMS may also provide direct support and coaching to frontline managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions. The CMS will also support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Graduate Degree encouraged)
  • Experience: 3-5 years of Banking, Finance, or IT experience is encouraged; nCino or Salesforce experience is preferred; previously Commercial Banking experience preferred, Prosci certification a plus.
  • Knowledge: Strong interpersonal skills, proficient computer skills, ability to multitask and prioritize projects

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES

  • On the job training and any additional training as needed (i.e., MS Excel, nCino, Core Training).
  • Required annual compliance training.
