We are seeking an experienced commercial account executive to join our team in Austin, TX, to assist with a wide spectrum of commercial insurance lines including casualty, auto, property, workers comp, E&O, D&O, EPL, Cyber-Liability coverages. Our Austin office focuses on insurance solutions for the Entertainment Industry, ranging from touring artists to live event organizers and festivals, however prior experience in entertainment is not required.

Location - this role is located in our Austin office, is approved for hybrid work with 3 days in office. Relocation assistance is available for this role.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in commercial account manager role
  • Current property/casualty insurance license
  • Experience with an agency management system (preferably Sagitta)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of commercial insurance lines
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain coverages to clients

This role is responsible for:

  • Managing the account life cycle: pre-renewal, renewal, post renewal and visiting client as needed.
  • Working with team members at all levels to ensure client satisfaction. Pro-actively addressing client issues whenever possible. Immediately addressing matters impacting customer satisfaction as they arise. Managing and growing underwriter relationships to ensure understanding of goals and expectations.
  • Managing day to day account transactions including additions/deletions of vehicles, property acquisitions, exposure changes, contract reviews, coverage analysis and program recommendations with intensive client interaction.
  • Prepare insurance applications (including Acord apps) for required coverage lines
  • Put together accurate, timely, professional and compliant presentations, proposals, summaries, reports and other market and client documents as required
  • Review of client contracts and insurance requirements
  • Issuance of certificates of insurance (COI’s), coverage binders, auto ID cards
  • Submission of renewal business to various markets and maintaining a productive relationship with insurance company underwriters and staff. Working with team members to execute all renewals in a timely manner. Generation of accurate renewal submission, proposals, and timely handling of surplus lines filings.
  • Policy Administration: Checking policies, coverage analysis, checking endorsements
  • Seek out new business through referrals, cross-selling and account rounding.
  • Effectively managing preparation and production of all elements of presentations for client meetings and properly representing the company. Attending client meetings, addressing client questions, and identifying next steps as appropriate.
  • Benchmarking (as needed) and presenting quotes to clients including recommendations for enhancing the insurance program.
