Member Duties : Further College Possible's programmatic reach to potentiall be able to serve students from low-income backgrounds in areas outside of Milwaukee particularly to Southeastern Wisconsin school districts Racine and Kenosha. According to Wisconsin DPI, 66% of Racine and 57% of Kenosha students are considered "economically disadvantaged" and less than 30% percent of Racine and Kenosha students enroll in college their first fall after high school graduation. Actively assist in the exploration and study of program feasibility in Southeastern Wisconsin high schools by meeting with educational stakeholders, prospecting partners, engaging with families, and creating a recruitment plan for AmeriCorps service members. Expansion efforts will enable College Possible to reach more students from low-income backgrounds and end the cycle of poverty through educational attainment.
