CNC Set Up Operator -- Franklin, WI Job at Krones North America
**Salary is determined by prior work background**
2nd and 3rd shift jobs available. We offer a $2,000 signing bonus and 2nd and 3rd shift premiums of 10% and 15%.
What you'll be doing:
Locate and obtain the correct tooling, fixtures and jaws for effective arrangement
Put in and teach tools into the machine
Run/inspect first piece and production parts as necessary
Make alterations (offsets/other) until the part is machined within specifications
Observe applicable procedures if the part is out of tolerance
Efficiently run and set-up CNC mills, CNC Lathes, machining centers and other equipment as necessary
Check cutting tools for sharpness and continued usage
Keep an eye on machine operation, detect malfunctions or out of tolerance features, make changes as needed to control the process
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 3 years operation and setup experience on mills and/or lathes
Willingness to move between workcenters
Shop math skills
Blueprint reading
GD&T
G&M Code
Further information:
Generally, you will train on 1st shift, which can last a few months to a year.

Salary info:
$23 - $35 / hr
