JOB TITLE: CNC OPERATOR I
JOB SUMMARY
Operate CNC machines. Learn how to work with complex blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, job orders, tooling instructions and standard charts. Also learn how to make required adjustments to machinery to compensate for material tooling, machine, or program conditions. Learn how to use specific measuring equipment for measuring parts you are running.

Operate CNC machines. Learn how to work with complex blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, job orders, tooling instructions and standard charts. Also learn how to make required adjustments to machinery to compensate for material tooling, machine, or program conditions. Learn how to use specific measuring equipment for measuring parts you are running.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Mechanically inclined to use for basic machine troubleshooting.
- Communication and problem-solving skills
- Dependable.
- Willingness to learn to run CNC Horizontal and/or Vertical machines, and basic CNC machining. (reading drawings and understanding tolerances, Tool changes. Tool offsets)
CORE DUTIES
- Learn to Operate CNC Machines with little assistance. Have an understanding of how the machine works to help maintain the machinery for which they are responsible and ensure it functions properly
- Learn to make tool offsets with no assistance
- Learn to Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
HOURS
- 2nd shift
- Monday - Thursday, 2:45 p.m. – 1:15 a.m.
- Overtime as needed
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Must be able and willing to reprioritize on short notice and work on multiple simultaneous projects. Flexible and able to work with various personalities. Teamwork skills required. Time management skills required. The ability to meet deadlines in a deadline intensive environment is essential- a high level of adaptability and willingness to embrace change in a fast pace, demanding environment.
