Frost Machine Shop is a small family owned Machine Shop In Russell Springs, KY.
We operate in an environment where everyone’s input is important. We hire the best and empower them to make decisions and to be creative to achieve quality products. Our employee’s are involved in every step of the process.
We are a job shop and require our machinist to be able to run several different types of equipment.
We have all types of equipment from CNC mills & lathes, EDM, manual mills & lathes, Grinding, etc. We are looking for machinist to able to work with several different machines, read blue prints, program, run, & set up cnc machines.
Would like for them to have at least 5 years experience in the field and would be a big plus if you have some of the basic machinist tools.
Position Responsibilities of the Machinist:
Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, specifications and written instructions.
Must have a thorough understanding of machine tool capabilities.
Ability to proficiently use precision measuring instruments.
Ability to perform complex set ups
Must have strong communication skills.
Have a positive attitude, good energy and willing to do whatever it takes
Strength in CNC machining functions, such as grinding, milling, hard turning, etc
