Performs accurate review and research for all maintenance, transactional and client related activities and requests. Adheres to bank policies, procedures, and regulations set forth at the Federal and State levels. Adheres to the standards set forth by the bank.

SEEK PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Takes advantage of training opportunities to advance knowledge of rules and regulations that impact all avenues of asset management. Additional training in the department will be required to take on additional client-advice responsibilities.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, an individual is required to perform each crucial job requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below. 4-year degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Wealth Management, Wealth Advisement, or a related field required. 12+ years’ worth of wisdom in banking or financial services preferred. FINRA series 6 and/or 7 and 66 required. Prior sales and new business development experience required. Proven experience advising clients in the areas of investments, pre-retirement, education funding, and financial planning. CFP professional designation preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Ability to communicate clearly with clients verbally and in writing and be comfortable distilling sophisticated topics into easy-to-understand summaries for clients who may not have a lot of knowledge in fields in which they are seeking advice.

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to utilize telephone systems and possesses basic digital literacy including email, internet and intranet. Prior experience or ability to learn any computer programs pertinent to performing job duties.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to perform basic finance and accounting concepts and calculations.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully execute assignments of the job.


This position operates in a professional office environment with time spent at a desk using office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers as well as travel to clients for one-on-one meetings. Noise level is moderate with constant communication and interactions. Ability to travel on occasion to all market areas and attend seminars or training sessions offsite.
