SUMMARY

The Sr. Clinical Manager supervises, administers, and manages the specialty and subspecialty multidisciplinary clinics for Neurosciences service line at all its locations in Atlanta, Ga. Contributes to and participates in the Performance/Quality Improvement activities of assigned department(s) and adherence to Policies and Procedures. Provides leadership and facilitates program's multidisciplinary approach to patient care/services and provider access for clients. Engages in continuing education training and direction for all clinical staff in the development and promotion of a collaborative health care model that focuses on comprehensive, integrated multidisciplinary care for the patients and their families throughout the care continuum. Maintains responsibility for day-to-day clinical activities to promote excellence, responsible for direct supervision of all clinical and non-clinical staff. Contributes to and participates in the Performance/Quality Improvement activities of service line/s and adheres to Policies and Procedures of Grady Healthcare System.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Baccalaureate degree with specialty in health care or public administration or nursing or related field.
  • Master’s in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration preferred
  • Minimum of three years management experience in an ambulatory setting required.
  • Experience in staff supervision and management and demonstrated experience in making management level decisions required.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and to establish proactive working relationships with staff and peers.
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant strongly preferred
  • Knowledge about third-party payer rules and regulations preferred.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Candidate should have evidence of successful team and talent development
  • Evidence of experience designing fully optimized operational processes
  • Experience developing guidelines, SOPs and training material for patients, staff and all stakeholders
  • Experience operating large complex multidisciplinary academic clinical programs
  • Excellent track record of project management, managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Must have solid experience in data and analytics – Advanced Excel user experience preferred
  • Ability to see the big picture and operationalize the vision
  • Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership and change management skills
  • Preferably a nurse or an APP.
