VANTAGE is growing, and we need a Clinical Managers to oversee our Teams that deliver a quality experience to our valued partners . The Clinical Manager will have day-to-day and ongoing impact on company operations by formulating strategy, improving performance, allocation of resources, and ensuring compliance. You should be ready to mentor your team members, find ways to increase the quality of customer service, and implement best practices across all levels. Clinical Managers also provide collaborative support for other Clinical Managers throughout the country. This position reports to the VP of Operations.

We help hospitals, surgery centers, and physicians provide quality ophthalmology services to their communities cost-effectively and efficiently by deploying state-of-the-art ophthalmology equipment, instrumentation, disposables, and other supplies needed for surgery. Vantage is active across more than 20 states, particularly in rural locations, throughout the Central, Midwest, and Southeast U.S. In short, we are a logistics company with multiple locations that moves and provides medical equipment, supplies, and technicians to facility settings where this equipment or its technicians does not exist today.

  • Effectively Collaborate with Operations, Sales, & Finance to achieve Vantage goals
  • Ensure all operation functions are appropriate, safe, and cost-effective
  • Develop, improve, and implement operational management systems, processes, and best practices
  • Oversee warehouse procedures and create efficiency
  • Ensure the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and improve profitability
  • Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
  • Recruit, train and supervise staff
  • Find ways to increase the quality of customer service

Primary Duties

  • Ensure employees operate safely in all facets of their responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service for External Clients and Vantage Colleagues
  • Develop and Implement Long Term Strategies to Promote Effective Operations
  • Work with Team Leads, Scheduling, and Logistics to Ensure Effective Daily Operations
  • Assist in creating Warehouse Policy and Oversee compliance
  • Resource Management & Fleet Management
  • Conduct Interviews and assist in the Operations hiring process
  • Conduct Periodic Planned Visits to Assigned Regions
  • Develop & Implement Effective Team Communication Policy for Assigned Areas
  • Assist in Training Development (including continuing education) & Implementation
  • Timely respond to both internal and external communications (emails, calls, texts, and meetings)
  • Weekly Time Blocking
  • Weekly Area Updates regarding Operations and Assigned Projects
  • Weekly Collaborative Communication Plan with Assigned Teams & Divisional Account Executives

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as Clinical Manager or similar role
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Leadership ability
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to travel multiple days a week if needed

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Healthcare, or related field preferred
  • Leadership experience in a clinical environment is preferred
  • Five years of related experience is preferred

Physical Requirements:


  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Prolonged standing
  • Must be able to access, traverse and navigate Operations facility
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to push or pull up to 50 pounds
