Center for Cognition and Communication (CCC) is a leading provider of comprehensive Neuropsychological evaluations, cognitive therapy and other related mental health services for patients who have suffered a concussion or traumatic brain injury (“TBI”).

Our esteemed program was founded 30 years ago and continues to be led by Dr. Jason Brown, who is a neurologist and author of works in neuropsychology and philosophy of the mind. He has been a reputed reviewer and recipient of grants and fellowships from the National Institutes of Health and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and has been on the editorial boards of leading journals in his field.

We provide services in the New York metro area, with offices uptown adjacent to Cornell Medical Center and in Queens. Our company has developed a distinguished reputation in the field of rehabilitation through the use of state-of-the-art computer-driven programs for remediation and the latest advancements in research, therapy, and education.

The CCC clinical team consists of clinical neuropsychologists, clinical psychologists, post-docs, psychometricians, and externs. Our team members are well-trained and provide excellent support in administering neuropsychological assessments, scoring batteries, and preparing and writing clinical neuropsychological reports.

Role, Responsibilities and Details

Title: Clinical Director (Psychology/Neuropsychology)

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer – Anthony Brown

Hours: Mon- Fri 8am-4pm/9am-5pm; partial remote work/hybrid available (optional)

Responsible for overseeing and developing the clinical department including, but not limited to, hiring, supervision, evaluation, and scheduling. Our clinical Director will also develop, plan and implement strategies for program continuation and growth. Provide training to clinical staff, interns and externs. Must have excellent communication skills, be a team player, and be prepared to work with patients with PCS/TBI.

Job Qualifications:

  • Licensed Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist
  • Five+ years of related experience in the field of public health or community program development is required
  • Three+ years of experience providing clinical supervision to staff is required
  • Knowledge of program planning concepts, principles and practices with a focus on building and maintaining a system of integrated care that supports patient needs
  • Ability to handle administration of multiple program sites assuring efficiency in service delivery and program communication
  • Ability to establish rapport and gain the confidence of the members of the patient care team, clients, and associates
  • Ability to work independently with willingness to take initiative in addressing concerns and issues for desired outcomes
  • Address and monitor any corrective action plans related to clinical performance of staff
  • Bilingual (Preferred)

Salary: $180,000 – $250,000 (Salary commensurate with experience)
