As a Director of Therapy Operations, you will organize, develop, direct, and supervise all aspects of Therapy Operations in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, regulations, and guidelines to assure that the highest degree of quality care is rendered at all times. This position requires effective management skills along with good communication skills for interdepartmental relationships and requires competency in therapy discipline for evaluation, assessment, care planning and treatment.

Duties Include:

  • Responsible for the oversight of therapy staffing and scheduling to provide adequate coverage for patient treatments and for the preparation and monitoring of financial and budgeting therapy utilization.
  • Create an environment and culture that enables the team to fulfill its mission by providing patient safety and patient-centered treatment with a goal to be a 5 Star home health agency.
  • Participate in an Agency Performance Improvement Program, including quarterly Record Review to monitor and improve clinical services.
  • Responsible for managing multiple Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Language Pathologists
  • Ensure completion of competency evaluations initially and annually for all clinical staff.
  • Ensure client care is documented accurately, timely, and appropriately to meet the client’s needs and facilitate reimbursement.
  • Understands CMS home health regulations and hold therapy team to these standards.
  • Run monthly therapy education meetings.
  • Review therapy Oasis by using SHP and our EMR system DeVero.
  • Available from 8-5 for clinical support while the therapy team is in the field.
  • Able to handle conflict management and patient concerns.
  • Participate in the after-hours Admin on Call,
  • Participates in the selection and office/ field orientation of new clinical personnel.
  • Participate on Professional Advisory Committee and other committees, as applicable.
  • Participate in completion of Annual Program Evaluation, as applicable.

Required Experience/Skills:

License or Certification:
- Current State license as a Physical Therapist,
- CPR certification preferred unless otherwise required by hospital policy.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Successfully completed a Doctorate's degree in Physical Therapy
- Minimum five years of home health experience. Two years in home health management preferred.
- Oasis certified or advanced knowledge of Oasis and comfortable with taking the Oasis certification test and passing.

Salary: $85,000-$95,000/yr dependent upon experience

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift Monday to Friday in office (not remote)
