HOURS:
- 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Monday - Friday
- 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM Monday - Friday (part-time)
TRAVEL: (on occasion)
- Take students to DMV to get licensed and return to school
- DMV Locations Modesto, Stockton, Sacramento
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years commercial driving experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proof of right to work in the U.S
- Valid commercial driver's license - Class A
- Willing to work with students of diverse backgrounds
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- PATIENCE. Students require level headed instruction
- Conduct the practical portion of the Tractor Trailer Program
- Instruct and relay the necessary information students will need to perform a successful, adequate pre & post trips
- Show and teach students the necessary skills needed to safely operate a commercial vehicle
- Instill professionalism in the students to help them seek and obtain gainful employment
- Communicate with Enrollment Administrator on the progress of the students
- Communicate with management on the day to day task
CLERICAL:
- Keep track of attendance during the three weeks of practical training
- Update and complete the students training report (S.T.R.)
