Chiropractic/Acupuncture Assistant

Curis Functional Health is a group of innovative functional wellness clinics that combines chiropractors, nutritionists, and mental health professionals that focus on providing wellness and patient satisfaction. We currently have multiple clinics and are continually growing and adding more. We are looking for qualified people who are interested in joining an integrated and multidisciplinary team.

As a Chiropractic/Acupuncture Assistant, you will be an integral part of the patient care team. We are seeking people who have a pleasant demeanor, excellent customer service skills, a good attitude, handling patient education, and assisting with acupuncture by stocking supplies, cleaning cups, and preparing rooms for patients. Strong communication skills, computer skills, and attention to detail are required. Our clinics are fast paced and require the ability to stand for long periods of time. Due to the nature of working in healthcare, maintaining a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality are crucial.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

· Assists acupuncturist with patients

· Cleans rooms and cups after treatment and prepares rooms for the next patient

· Administering of modalities and treatments as outlined in the treatment plan

· Educate patients on the proper way to complete exercises and use equipment

· Keeping the office flowing with minimal waiting for the patient

· Greet patients on arrival and handle check-in and check-out functions

· Collect necessary new patient or updated health forms from patients

· Answer phones

· Appointment scheduling, confirmations and follow up on missed appointments

· Handle insurance verification and follow up on claim submittals if necessary

· Collect payments

· Prepare for the day’s appointments

· Assist in scheduling for other services that may be recommended as part of the treatment plan

· Attend required daily/weekly meetings

· Complete compliance training

· Other duties as assigned

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
