Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for business coordination, triage and prioritisation for the Head of Vanguard Invest.
- Ensure board members are presented with high-quality, up to date information in advance of key events and schedule follow up accordingly, track progress of board actions and update the directors accordingly. Ensure strict confidentiality and employs the upmost diplomacy in all interactions.
- Responsible for supporting the Managing Directors, Boards and its committees / counsels in fulfilling their responsibilities according to corporate and regulatory law in Germany.
- Prepare and support management and board meetings, including coordination with regulatory legal counsels and compilation of meeting materials such as agendas, reports, and documentation.
- Accountable for management information and reporting requirements for the team, including management materials and quarterly team metrics, key KPIs etc.
- Perform in depth analysis, ensures the accuracy of the reports and appropriate communication. Improves and develops team reporting capabilities.
- Manage the OKRs of the business; organise their regular maintenance and track against related deadlines and goals as well as reporting on the status regular to senior leadership.
- Project manager ensuring that actions are delivered in line with agreed timeframes.
- Lead projects; define, recommend, plan, coordinate and execute department projects as part of an overall initiative, or participating in such activities.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- Demonstrable relevant experience; project management experience preferred, ideally in the financial services industry.
- German Corporate law skills in relation to requirements applicable to boards and corporate governance as surplus.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Ability to work quickly and independently with attention to detail and sensitivity to deadlines.
- Excellent judgement and problem-solving skills.
- Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office 365), Jira would be beneficial
- Ability to appropriately manage highly confidential, sensitive data.
