Work week: Rotating schedule (Monday through Friday, no weekends, must have availability for the following shifts on a rotating schedule)

• Day Shift – 3 weeks (7:00am to 3:00pm)
• Midshift – for 3 weeks (3:00pm to 11:00pm)
• Night Shift- for 3 weeks (11:00pm to 7:00am)

Minimum Required Experience;

• Good mechanical experience within the manufacturing experience.
• Some experience in the chemical, oil & gas, refining, or utilities industry.
• Must have manufacturing experience.
• Stable job history.
• Good communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous chemical plant experience as a Chemical Operator

Education / Certifications: High School Diploma or GED

Job Description:

As a Chemical/Production Operator at you will be part of our manufacturing teams who are safely producing our products in an environmentally responsible manner. You will join us in one of our control rooms and will be driving our production process using our automated distribution control system (DCS). This includes but is not limited to charging raw materials to reactors remotely, monitoring key parameters of the chemical process like temperature and pressure or giving instructions to field operators. Responsibilities

In your team, you will be responsible for

• The safe operation of the unit, compliance with health requirements and protection of the environment
• Ensuring production of material meets strict Quality standards
• Working together with Production Operators to manage the daily running of the production lines
• Charging and moving chemical products through the plant using the DCS
• Preventative measures to assure operating efficiency and equipment integrity
• Monitoring operations, recording data, and filling out work instructions
• Ensuring conformance to quality standards

• Assist in training our junior operators

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• Prior experience running a controls system
