Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Registered Nurses raise the bar by providing clinical expertise and the highest quality care, in the most compassionate way. Our RN Revenue Integrity Charge Master is responsible for analyzing and auditing charge master and department billing procedures. We are an amazing team, that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition, like you, who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

What You Will Do In This Role:

• Responsible for the integrity of the Charge Master and related processes to ensure compliance with governmental billing regulations and appropriate statement of revenue by maintaining and reviewing the Charge Master.
• Researching billing compliance issues
• Auditing patient accounts to ensure billing compliance including, but not limited to, Medicare medical necessity requirements, accurate coding and charge capture, and missed charging opportunities
• Responding to reimbursement inquiries
• Auditing shared service center audits and reports
• Providing education to the departments on charge capture best practices and communicating regulatory changes to clinical departments and physicians as needed

What qualifications you will need:

• BSN required
• Texas State RN License or compact license is accepted
• Three (3) years of experience preferred, as a hospital nurse auditor or similar role, with charge master setup and billing compliance preferred
