This role will be a direct seller within our Electric Utility Software business known as GE GRID. We have the broadest suite of interoperable products through the entire grid lifecycle; Our Grid Software serves more than 40% of Transmission and 30% of Distribution utilities globally.

Responsible for supporting all aspects of GE Digital Grid Software Channel programs across the Americas. This includes channel commercial reporting, management reporting and insightful analytics that drive sales and commercial efficiency. Partners closely with regional sales strategy & excellence organization, sales representatives, sales managers, and commercial leadership to optimize channel pipeline and orders growth.

Responsible for channel renewals, expansion and recruitment to cover all country and regional Go To Market strategy agreed with the regional sales teams. Works in partnership with cross functional teams including Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Services and Support teams, leverages competitive intelligence to drive change and actions that better position GE Digital in the marketplace.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Reseller/agent and Solution Partner recruitment/onboarding

  • C-suite communication and relationship capabilities with channel

  • Development/Execution of Strategic Account Plan and Quarterly Business Reviews

  • Planning and execution of partner demo, sales and implementation training

  • Ensuring GE compliance and risk guidelines are met.

  • Manage Reseller/Agent model and competitive replacement programs

  • Report out monthly to key senior management stakeholders on channel development strategies and plan execution.

  • Work with marketing and operations to manage channel partner program activities

  • Voice of the customer activities and collaborating with Product Marketing for NPI

  • Ensure all partners execute strategic and quarterly business planning

  • Work with channel marketing and operations to execute integrated recruiting and on-boarding campaigns

  • Work with Channel Sales Operations to provide funnel and forecasting for each partner in SFDC.

  • Ensure channel partners have available and necessary tools, training, and resources for all new product releases and upgrades

  • Coordinate with marketing/sales ops as required for on-going program execution

  • Contribute to GE’s operating plan as required

  • Work with finance/sales operations to ensure performance targets are met, co-op payments, and sales incentives accurate and paid out in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

  • BSC/BA degree or similar preferred

  • 2+ years’ experience in commercial, business/sales operations/analytics, or other commercial role. Graduates with 1 or 2 commercial roles experience.

  • Strong interpersonal skills including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence solution direction across all levels of the organizational matrix.

  • Experience recognizing business problems and developing solutions

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) - ability to communicate with a variety of functions and C-level executives

  • Highly driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency in a rapidly changing environment

  • Ability to both execute directly and prioritize the work of a cross-functional team.

  • Able to thrive in a matrix organization.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead and influence cross functionally.

Eligibility Requirements: (Country Specific)

  • Must be willing to travel 30% of the time

  • Will be remote worker but must be able and willing to travel to meet in the Atlanta, GA office regularly.

Technical Expertise:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software.

  • Experience working with Salesforce.com.

Business Acumen:

  • Background in influencing cross-functional teams toward execution of a strategic initiative. Experience working with a field sales force.

Personal Attributes:

  • Exhibited capability to break down complex issues with the goal of mitigating/eliminating barriers.

  • Independent, self-directed, with a strong attention to detail.

  • Strong intellectual curiosity—a desire to identify the “why” in a situation.
