Job Responsibilities:
- The Medical Assistant will complete initial patient evaluation – obtain vitals and gather medical information
- Data entry into EMR
- Medical Assistants provide patient education - venous insufficiency, ultrasound results, treatment options, and recommendations of Physicians
- Formulate a multimodality treatment strategy for the patients’ venous insufficiency, under the direction of a Physician
- Assume duties of a Surgical Tech when needed, including prep and assisting in procedures. Maintaining proper sterile field. Sterilization of surgical instruments.
- Adhere to all infection control, universal precautions, and safety policies
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience
- Must have reliable transportation
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred
