Job Overview: Responsible for preparing documents for bookings including but not limited to proposals, contracts, banquet event orders, etc. Serves as the point of contact for Sales and Catering clients and communicates with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests. In addition, this person will work on any designated Sales and Catering projects as assigned.

Job Duties:

• Ensures proper execution of documents for Sales and Catering events including but not limited to proposals, contracts, banquet event orders, etc.
• Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information like leads, thirds parties, etc.
• Communicates directly with clients via phone and email to answer general questions about property facilities/services, contracts, upcoming events, etc.
• Sales and Catering event support including management of target lists, coordination of internal and external communication, scheduling of meetings, and development of event plans and timelines.
• Coordination and execution of any special projects including but not limited to familiarization tours, competitive research, trade show preparation, etc.
• Assists with financial reconciliations and marketing material creation.

Job Requirements:

Reflects MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, CERTIFICATION and EXPERIENCE required in order to meet the expectations of this job:

• High School graduate or GED.
• One year of secretarial/office work experience.
• Ability to type 40 words per minute.
• Proficiency (ability to create non-routine files or reports) in word-processing, spreadsheets, presentation, database, electronic mail software. May include software for on-line purchasing, HRIS, or other job-specific software.
