Essential Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Assist in maintenance and repairs of equipment.

2. Assist in inspections of equipment for proper size/function.

3. Assist other crew members as directed by Pusher

4. Assist with rig up / rig down of tools before and after job

Marginal Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors

Education:

1. Preferably - High School diploma or GED.

Special Knowledge and Skills:

1. Completion of training requirements as established by Company (i.e. Hands-On and Classroom if applicable).

2. Ability to handle all appropriate job related tools and equipment.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to continuously lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 pounds; frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 80 pounds; occasionally/infrequently lift and/or carry up to 80 pounds.

2. Ability to frequently stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, reach, finger and twist upper body; continuously handle, feel and use eye-hand coordination and eye-hand/foot coordination; occasionally use foot control; infrequently sit, crouch and crawl

3. Ability to demonstrate near and far acuity; depth perception and color definition.

4. Ability to use senses of taste, smell, hearing and touch.

5. Ability to wear respiratory protection.

Mental and Interpersonal Requirements:

1. Average ability to: think and reason, solve problems, apply speed and accuracy, and reason mechanically, reading comprehension; average ability to use correct grammar, solve math problems, read with speed, and use three-dimensional skills; no computer skills required.

2. Average oral communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to interact well not only with fellow crew members but the rig crews as well; low managerial organizational, and written communication skills.

3. Ability to read and interpret safety material, handouts, manuals, etc.

4. Able to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time.

Working Conditions:

1. Working sporadic work hours of 40+ hours per week, overtime as it arises, & being on 24 hour call per day.

2. Performing work in workshops, outside, and on land rigs.

3. Occasionally having to drive to and from job-site.

4. Frequent exposure to extremes of outside work, heat, cold and noise; mechanical, electrical, explosion and fume/odor hazards.

5. Must wear Personal Protective Equipment such as but not limited to: safety glasses, goggles, face-shields, work gloves, hearing protection, uniforms, etc.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
