Our 24h high-traffic Hartland Mobil General Store Pizza Grill is looking for a Cashier/Sales Associate/Stockers. We are looking for a motivated and highly organized professional with retail Cashier/Sales Associate /Stocker experience. We offer high industry compensation, and health insurance benefits, after 90 days for full time employment. Midnight Position includes premium compensation

Day @$15.00 - Midnight @$16.00 depending on experience with a 30 day evaluation for a raise.

Greet customers when they walk through the door

Ask customers what they are looking for and show them

Build rapport through conversation and honest recommendations

Inform customers to search our website for coupons and other ways to save money

Operate the cash register and provide accurate change to cash-paying customers

Show customers the locations of items they are looking for and suggest complementary items when appropriate

Pay attention to shoppers on the floor and notify management of any possible shoplifting activity

Restock shelves when needed to ensure optimum availability of products

Unpack shipments in the store room and categorize them appropriately

Place special orders for customers who cant find what they need in the store

Prepare and distribute special-ordered merchandise

Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change

Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals

Memorize product locations throughout the store and be able to direct customers or make suggestions

Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner

Collect payments and bag purchases for customers

Maintain accurate cash drawer

Take a tally of the funds in the cash register when required during a shift and produce transaction reports

Keep the checkout area clean and orderly

Maintain a positive work environment for all Cashiers

Resolve cash tills at the end of every shift

Generate accurate till reports for each register

Manage and perform all check-out functions on a daily basis

Communicate clearly and openly with customers

Manage the check-out area and ensure each station remains clean and efficiently run

Respond to Cashier requests for price checks and other functions for customer service

Listen to customer complaints and questions and refer them to the assistant manager when required

Serve as the primary point-of-contact for customer service associates

Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed
