We are looking for an individual who This person will be responsible for providing high-quality customer service while operating a cash register, performing daily duties, assisting with inventory, and assisting customers as needed. This person will be honest and ethical in their business practices and actively committed to individualized five-star customer service . The successful candidate will be a quick learner, a strong team player, and an ability to solve problems quickly. We're looking for a rock star cashier!
Responsibilities:
- Receive payment for customer purchases.
- Make change for customer.
- Perform basic calculations for customers.
- Maintain cash register, including being accountable for all cash, checks, and receipts. Report any discrepancies to supervisor.
- Answer basic questions about prices and merchandise.
- Keep store area clean, tidy, and stocked.
Job Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school education or equivalent completed.
- Be a team player
- Trustworthy
- Ability to use the cash register.
- Basic math skills to calculate prices and make change.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Ability to provide regular and predictable attendance to work schedule.
