Cash Application Specialist Job at Reliable Heating & Air
Summary
The Cash Application Specialist is primarily responsible for processing high volume transactions for the accounts receivable department. The ideal candidate will have previous accounts receivable experience in a high-volume environment.
Essential Functions
Daily check and cash deposits
Resolve payment issues or other discrepancies
Attend to and reconcile accounts receivables and remittances to bank deposits
Run weekly general ledger reports
Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering corrections to customer accounts
Post daily payments including wires, ACH credit transfers, and checks to customer accounts
Assist other finance areas, Accounts Payables, Credit & Collections
Research and negotiates chargeback claims
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
2+ years experience in an Accounts Receivable department
Data Analytical, Critical Thinking and Problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to process high volumes of work with great accuracy.
Advanced proficiency with data analysis using VLOOKUP, formulas and pivot tables
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills
Accounting, data entry, general math, financial software, analytical/reporting and research skills
A can-do attitude with a high degree of integrity, effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
