QUALIFICATIONS:

Certified New York State teacher’s certification in Carpentry or eligible to receive New York State certification as a Career and Technical Education teacher. Associates degree preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

Must be proficient in building trades construction practices including carpentry, masonry, plumbing and electrical. Possess an understanding of New York State building codes. Must be able to lead and supervise groups of students and deliver units of instruction to high school and adult students

SALARY/BENEFITS:

Competitive pay and benefits based on the BOCES Teachers’ Association (BTA) contract.
