General Description:
Constructs, erects, installs and repairs exterior and interior structures of wood, plywood, hardiplank, vinyl trim and siding, and various other materials.
Essential Duties:
Repairs and/or replaces structural (wood or other) damage to the facility buildings and structures. Maintains wooden fencing.
Builds and/or assembles any new structures in accordance with local codes and zoning.
Repairs, replaces, and/or fabricates architectural trim for the property buildings and structures.
Performs minor roof repairs.
Moves, repairs and/or assembles furniture and partitions, hangs shelves, artwork, curtain rods, etc.
Installs, replaces, and/or repairs window screens, shutters, locks and door hardware for the property and structures.
Maintains or reinforces greens support structures for golf course.
Repairs and hangs property signage.
Repairs walkways and railings.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as required.
Education/Experience:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of two years experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
Frequently uses hands, reaches with hands and arms. Regularly stands, walks, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches or crawls. Occasionally sits. Frequently lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.
Environment/Noise:
Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and power tools, adhesive fumes, caustic chemicals, electricity, and outside weather conditions. Noise level varies from moderate to loud.
