Carpenters Needed $22-$24+
Must be local to the OBX currently.
We mostly install windows and doors, sometimes we do other projects such as painting, decks, siding and fences. You will work with the owner on all jobs, we try not to split up the crew, but this may happen if we have more than one project at a time. We are looking for carpenters and helpers. We do work mostly in Kitty Hawk to Manteo, but work in Corolla a few times a month, and occasionally Rodanthe South.
Skilled, knowledgeable AND PRODUCTIVE Carpenters. Pay to start at $22-24 until experience and productivity is assessed for up to 1 month. To be considered Experienced, this means you are highly proficient with power tools (drills, saws, table saws), good with details, and can follow instructions as well as be independent and able to start and complete projects yourself. Must be professional in customers homes, no drama. This is not a foreman position. We care more about abilities than length of experience.
Carpenter Helper: Pay is $17-$22 for carpenters with some experience. This means you are familiar, comfortable and proficient with power tools (drills, saws, table saws), willing and good at learning.
All must be able to pick up 80 pounds, window or single entry door by yourself; have reliable transportation, keep jobsites clean and be able to work on ladders up to 3 stories. All must keep a clean appearance. Smoke breaks are limited and must be done away from customer home.
