Caregiver/ HHA- Boothwyn- 10 hours shifts Job at Touching Hearts at Home- Delaware County
Looking for caregivers to take care of our client located in Boothwyn. She needs help 7 days a week and 10 hours a day. If you are looking to work 40 hours and just 4 days a week, than this is the job for you.
Our client needs help around the house, and assistance with their ADL's, but most importantly somone that is going to be a good companion.
Applicants MUST meet the following requirements:
· Have a valid DRIVER’S LICENSE + Have a RELIABLE VEHICLE and AUTO INSURANCE in your name/with you listed as a driver. (*necessary in order to transport our clients and/or complete errands for clients)
· Have or be willing to complete a 2-STEP TB SKIN TEST -or- QUANTIFERON BLOOD TEST -or- CHEST X-RAY
· Be willing to travel throughout ALL of Delaware county
We serve a diverse group of clients with various needs and capabilities. Job duties will vary depending on which client(s) you are placed with. Typical job duties may include, but are not limited to:
· Providing companionship, including friendly conversation, assisting with hobbies, providing emotional support, etc.
· Assistance with personal hygiene, including bathing, toileting, dressing, etc.
· Assistance with meals, including prep, clean-up, feeding, and encouraging healthy dietary habits
· Assistance with light housekeeping such as laundry, dusting/vacuuming, sweeping/mopping, decluttering, sanitizing, etc.
