Cariopulmonary Diagnostics Tech Summary

The Cardiopulmonary Diagnostics Tech engages in diagnostic testing of cardiopulmonary and related diseases as prescribed by a physician. Diagnoistic procedures include but not limited to EKG, EEG, Holter monitoring and downloads and Pulmonary Function Testing.

• Perfoms Cardio server duties
• Reviews orders received
• Administers prescribed meds and treatments
• Performs EEG's
• Operates pulse Oximetry
• Performs PFT' machine calibration and maintains records
• Performing QC, proficiency testing and routine maintenance on blood gas analyzers
• Proficient in obtaining and analyzing arterial blood.
• Correctly documenting procedures and oxygen usage to correctly capture charges

Cardiopulmonary Diagnostics Tech Pay & Perks

• Salary dependent on experience
• Respiratory Therapists working 2nd shift (3:00 to 11:00 p.m.) are eligible for 10% shift differential. Respiratory Therapists working 3rd shift (11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.) are eligible for 13% shift differential.
• Taylor Regional Hospital offers a defined benefit retirement plan for any team member working 1,000 or more hours during the calendar year. Team members do not contribute to this plan, it is 100% funded by Taylor Regional Hospital.

Respiratory Therapist Qualifications

• Full Time position available (Day Shift).
• Associate Degree required
• CRT/RRT from NBRC required
• Current KY Respiratory Care license required
• Respiratory Therapy experience is preferred, but not required
