TGH is the area’s only level I trauma center and one of just two ABA-verified adult & pediatric burn centers in Florida. Duties:

  • Perform pacemaker and device checks.
  • Make programming changes per physician’s orders.
  • Cardiac follow-up scheduling.
  • Provide patient education prep and follow-up care.
  • Apply Holter/Event monitor and maintain rhythm reports.
  • Assist with research clinical phases.
  • Maintain database of all pacemakers, devices, monitors and generator/lead changes.
  • Assist with nuclear cardiac stress exams.
  • Assist with scheduling of hospital EP procedures.
  • Room patients, enter vital signs into electronic health record, update medication list in electronic health record.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • This position requires a graduate from an Accredited Arrhythmia Technology Program or 5 years device specialist experience. BLS/AED, CPR, ACLS certified. IBHER (formerly NASPE) certified within one year of employment.
  • Prior PaceArt experience. Familiar with programs from various device companies.
