Proactive, motivated and flexible after school Nanny OR Manny needed for* 3 school-age boys (15 + 13 yr old twins)* in Sherman Oaks! General schedule is Tuesday-Saturday (Tuesday-Thursday 3pm-7pm, Friday 2pm-7pm + occasional Saturday evenings (5-9pm) OR overnight (2-3x per month) as mutually agreed upon. Family will guarantee 20hrs/week + availability to pick up extra hours! Rate is $32-35/hr gross DOE.
This busy-working mom is soon going to be handling the kids solo while dad travels overseas for work in January. She is looking for a partner in parenting who can be her right hand, and provide support to her 3 active and athletic teens! In this role you will pick them up from school, drive them to activities, stay on top of their schedules, and prepare simple family dinners each night. Each day will be an adventure as you’ll join in on or supervise the boys in their activities; participating in the fine arts, keeping active (playing sports, sailing, biking, running, or swimming in the backyard pool), and playing video games. You’ll be actively engaged in their day-to-day lives, ensuring they’re learning to be responsible, respectful, and smart teenagers, working to reach their full potential. Additional household tasks include light tidying (keeping kitchen and living spaces clean and well kept), grocery shopping, laundry, meal planning (teens have food allergies to tree nuts, eggs, sesame, lentil, etc) and general family assistance on an as-needed basis. They have* 2 adorable yorkies* as well, so please be pet friendly!
The best person for this role is* someone who has a heart for teens, is a progressive thinker/sensitive to the LGBQT community, comfortable working with a transgender/non-binary teen,* and experience working with adolescents with special needs (high functioning autism). Family will prioritize candidates with assistant experience, as they hope to find someone who will grow with them for the next several years.
