Calibration Administrator

Job Description: 1 The Calibration Administrator maintains the calibration database and records. Collects equipment and gages requiring calibration and processes them to an outside laboratory. This employee will interact with internal and external customers during audits. Must be detailed oriented with the ability to generate required reports.. Key Responsibilities: * Update and maintain calibration database; * Process incoming equipment/gages from calibration laboratory; * Collect equipment/gages requiring calibration and process to outside calibration laboratory; * Maintain electronic calibration records including download/scanning; * Perform shop floor audits to ensure no expired equipment is in use; * Assign CCS asset numbers and permanently identify tools/equipment; * Distribute upcoming and past due gages and equipment calibration list to departmental leads and responsible supervisors; * Process failed tools/equipment to CCS’ Material Review Board; * Request calibration quotes; * Schedule and coordinate onsite equipment calibration; * Provide calibration reports to CCS’ QAM * Support incoming inspection review of raw material certifications as time permits Skills and Requirements: * Applicant must be ITAR compliant. * Keep quality up to acceptable standards with little discrepant work; * Perform tasks equal to or exceeding established standards; * Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions in English; * Ability to work well with only a modest amount of repeated instructions; * Ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office products as required; * Effective time management skills; * Conduct himself/herself in a business-like and Civil manner; * Ability to react to changes productively and perform other essential tasks as assigned * Be team oriented and possess flexibility and adaptability Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Pay: $38,743.31 - $116,961.35 per year
