Cafeteria CoordinatorShelburne Community School (SCS) is looking for two positive, energetic, and organized candidates to serve as part of a team to supervise and coordinate our cafeteria during student lunches. The successful candidate will work with students, paras, and teachers in grades K-8.The Cafeteria Coordinator will be fully supported by SCS administrators in order to build and sustain a positive and orderly environment during lunch. They will also be supported by paraprofessionals from each grade level (K-8) who help provide supervision of students during lunch.Responsibilities will include: -Ensuring students are eating during their time in the cafeteria -Direct the movement of students to and from the cafeteria -Support the Food Service Team and Paras in meeting the needs of all students -Monitoring student behavior during lunch periods to ensure safety and acceptable conduct -Correct or redirect unexpected behavior and communicate any serious concerns to the planning room and/or school administrationThe job will begin immediately. The position is part-time, but there is flexibility to increase the overall hours for a candidate who is interested in full-time employment.

This is an hourly position at $15/hr and does not include benefits. The typical hours are between 10:30am-1:30pm M, T, W, Th, and F.CVSD is an equal opportunity employer.
